Clark Haass

Born and raised in Wyoming, I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest – first Seattle then Portland. Portland’s dining scene infected me and I caught the foodie bug. My hash obsession was launched at a little cafe called Le Roux whose smoked trout hash inspired me. I then set the goal to write a book on hash, but had to master it first! When I’m not dreaming up a new recipe or plotting my next hashcapade, I’m training for half and full marathons so I can be a fit foodie. Happy Hashcapades!
